Retail Renovation Sprinkler Review
Providing an independent engineering review of the sprinkler design associated with a retail renovation.
The project
A retail renovation included sprinkler work that required third-party engineering review. WFPE’s assignment focused on the submitted design for that renovation and its relationship to the applicable fire protection requirements.
Our approach
We evaluated the sprinkler submission within the defined area of work and documented the review against the relevant criteria. Keeping the scope tied to the renovation package gave the project team a clear understanding of what had been evaluated. The engagement concerned the design documents submitted for review, rather than a general assessment of every existing system in the property.
What we delivered
WFPE issued review certification documentation recording general conformance of the evaluated design. It provided an independent review record for the renovation submission; the record itself did not establish installation completion or final field acceptance.
