Polymer Production Storage Review
Distinguishing raw resin from finished plastic products in a manufacturing and storage assessment.
The project
A production tenant planned to handle polymer raw materials and finished packaging products within a sprinklered building. WFPE evaluated the inventory at different stages of the process instead of assigning every material the same storage classification.
Our approach
The report considered the form of the raw resin, the finished products, associated process materials, and the rack arrangement. It connected storage height and open shelving conditions with sprinkler clearance and the existing protection criteria. The described manufacturing activities were considered alongside the warehouse use.
What we delivered
WFPE delivered an occupancy and commodity report establishing the evaluated production and storage basis. The deliverable documented the material and arrangement assumptions and the need for reassessment if those conditions changed.
