Reviewing a parking facility’s sprinkler package against adopted standards and local interpretations.
The project
A parking facility’s sprinkler design required engineering review that accounted for the applicable code framework and the reviewing jurisdiction’s provisions. WFPE evaluated the submission within that defined plan review scope.
Our approach
Our review considered the sprinkler package against the adopted fire code and sprinkler standard, including the relevant local bulletins and interpretations. That combination mattered because the applicable review criteria included more than a single national standard. The engineering record tied the submitted design to the requirements used in the evaluation.
What we delivered
WFPE prepared review certification documentation for the sprinkler package. The result was a documented design review against the applicable criteria, without extending the conclusion to installation or field testing that was outside this assignment.
