Operations Facility Sprinkler Review
A coordinated review of sprinkler drawings, calculations, and product data for an operations facility.
The project
An operations facility’s sprinkler submittal required Qualified Fire Protection Engineer review. The package included the working plans and the technical information used to support the proposed protection system.
Our approach
WFPE reviewed the submitted drawings, hydraulic calculations, and product data against the applicable project and sprinkler requirements. Evaluating the package as a whole tied the system shown on the drawings to its calculation basis and selected equipment. The review recommendation applied to the referenced submittal and its revisions.
What we delivered
WFPE issued sprinkler review documentation for the evaluated package. The contractor retained responsibility for a compliant installation, with field work and subsequent changes subject to their applicable requirements. The engagement provided a defined engineering review of the design submission, rather than a claim of completed field acceptance.
