Manufacturing Alarm Plan Review
An independent review of a manufacturing alarm drawing package, with a recommendation tied to the specific documents evaluated.
The project
A manufacturing fire alarm package was submitted to WFPE for an independent engineering review. The task was to evaluate the drawings against the applicable building, fire, alarm, and electrical requirements and document a recommendation for that submission.
Our approach
WFPE reviewed the referenced drawing package against the adopted requirements, including applicable amendments. The review kept the evaluated design package clearly defined: installation remained the contractor’s responsibility, and changes to the reviewed drawings required further engineering review. That distinction matters when a submitted design moves into field installation and later revisions.
What we delivered
The review record recommends approval of the submitted drawing package within the evaluated scope. It establishes a documented review position for those drawings while preserving the need to review deviations. The engagement was a plan review; it did not constitute field acceptance of the installed system.
