Manufacturing Addition Process Review
Evaluating a building addition alongside changes in the materials supporting production.
The project
A manufacturer planned an addition that would continue the activities of its existing facility. WFPE evaluated the combined use, including raw materials, finished products, packaging, and a proposed change in the process gas supply.
Our approach
The report reviewed storage limits and sprinkler criteria for the existing and proposed areas. It also considered material quantities in storage and use and the described process gas equipment. The assessment connected the expansion’s building needs with the operating assumptions behind the hazard evaluation.
What we delivered
WFPE documented the occupancy and protection basis for the existing facility and proposed addition. The report provided a coordinated foundation for the expansion while making future process or inventory changes subject to reevaluation.
