Industrial Materials Corrective Strategy
Turning a site survey and chemical inventory into defined recommendations for storage and process use.
The project
A manufacturing operation stored chemicals and used them in processing areas. WFPE’s limited evaluation focused on hazardous materials and the distinction between closed storage, closed use, and open use.
Our approach
Following a site visit, we reviewed safety data sheets, quantities, and storage locations and prepared a hazardous-material inventory statement. The assessment identified quantity exceedances and evaluated potential control-area separation, inventory reductions, container management, and outdoor storage relocation. Additional investigation of the existing occupancy basis was also recommended.
What we delivered
WFPE delivered a findings report with corrective recommendations tied to the observed conditions. The scope addressed materials storage and use; sprinkler, alarm, and unrelated building systems were outside this evaluation.
