Industrial Liquids Storage Controls
Establishing the inventory and storage conditions behind a limited industrial-liquids warehouse use.
The project
An existing building was proposed for storing packaged industrial liquids. WFPE evaluated the products by hazard classification and considered how their quantities and arrangement affected the building’s protection requirements.
Our approach
The analysis distinguished different liquid and health-hazard classifications, documented quantity limits, and evaluated the footprint of the proposed storage. Container arrangements, stacking, access, and life safety provisions were considered together. The resulting protection conclusion depended on maintaining those defined conditions.
What we delivered
WFPE delivered a classification report setting out the evaluated inventory and storage controls. It provided the owner with an operating basis for the proposed use while making changes in products, quantities, or arrangement subject to reevaluation.
