Industrial Alarm Documentation Review
Reconciling device counts, circuits, amplifiers, and calculations within an industrial alarm package.
The project
An industrial alarm submission contained multiple documents describing the same system. WFPE reviewed whether the riser, device information, schedules, and supporting calculations presented a coordinated design.
Our approach
The review identified mismatches in device counts and equipment information, including notification and amplifier items that needed clarification. Comments also called for coordination of battery calculations, point-to-point information, and speaker schedules. Addressing these discrepancies was necessary for the package to describe the intended system consistently.
What we delivered
WFPE documented the open items and required a revised submission. The resulting comment record gave the project team a structured basis for reconciling the package, with each correction tied to the affected design information. The review did not represent field testing or acceptance of an installed system.
