Healthcare Renovation Field Changes
Evaluating installed sprinkler locations that differed from the reviewed renovation drawings.
The project
A healthcare renovation reached the sprinkler inspection stage with some installed head locations differing from the working plans. The engineering task was to evaluate those field conditions against the protection requirements rather than assume that a drawing difference alone settled the question.
Our approach
WFPE conducted a walkthrough and reviewed the sprinkler working plans. We considered the observed locations within the renovation scope and assessed whether the installed arrangement remained compliant with the applicable criteria. This connected the document review with the conditions actually present in the space.
What we delivered
The inspection certification documented that the evaluated installation met the applicable requirements despite the noted location differences. The deliverable provided a specific record of the reviewed field conditions and their assessment, bounded to the healthcare renovation’s sprinkler scope.
