Healthcare Existing-Condition Review
Evaluating existing dimensional conditions in response to healthcare inspection findings.
The project
A healthcare facility needed engineering support for specific findings involving room and corridor dimensions. WFPE conducted a limited survey and reviewed the historical context of the existing conditions.
Our approach
The evaluation compared observed dimensions with the cited requirements and considered the egress capacity of the affected openings. The report developed an engineering explanation for the conditions being addressed and referenced earlier waiver history where applicable. The scope remained focused on the identified findings.
What we delivered
WFPE provided an evaluation letter supporting a request for regulatory consideration of the existing conditions. The deliverable documented the engineering position; it did not establish that the requested waiver or other regulatory relief had been granted.
