Formulated Product Hazard Classification
Evaluating the hazard characteristics of formulated products alongside their storage arrangement.
The project
A distributor handled formulated products and other supplies with different packaging and material characteristics. WFPE evaluated the inventory as supplied, including the information used to classify mixtures rather than relying only on the presence of an individual ingredient.
Our approach
The report reviewed the hazardous-material inventory, product classifications, storage arrangement, and existing sprinkler protection. It documented the quantity controls and material assumptions supporting the proposed occupancy. Ordinary commodities and plastic packaging were considered alongside the chemical products.
What we delivered
WFPE delivered an occupancy and commodity report defining the evaluated inventory and storage conditions. The work provided a basis for the described operation and identified changes in formulations, products, or storage as reasons for another assessment.
