Fire Protection Field Verification
Tracking corrective work, functional testing, and the remaining conditions before further acceptance activities.
The project
A phased facility project needed a clear account of which fire protection items had been verified and which remained open. WFPE reviewed earlier inspection records, observed pre-final work and functional testing, and assessed documentation of corrective actions.
Our approach
The assignment combined field observations with review of reported corrections, including supporting photographs. We distinguished the systems and functions available for testing from interfaces that could not yet be fully verified. That distinction was necessary because some integration depended on other systems becoming operational, while individual installation items still required attention.
What we delivered
WFPE documented the status of the inspected work, remaining corrections, and testing limitations in an inspection letter. The deliverable supported planning for further acceptance activities by making completed verification and outstanding work explicit. It did not treat partial testing as final acceptance of the complete facility.
