Facility Water-Based System Review
Reviewing the sprinkler, pump, and private fire-main package as connected parts of a facility’s protection system.
The project
A facility project required Qualified Fire Protection Engineer review of a water-based fire protection submission. The engineering scope extended across sprinklers, the fire pump, and private fire service mains.
Our approach
WFPE reviewed the plans, calculations, and product data against the applicable project requirements and referenced standards. Bringing those documents into one review connected the building’s sprinkler design with the equipment and piping intended to supply it. The review addressed the submitted design basis and the technical information supporting the selected components.
What we delivered
WFPE provided certification documentation for the evaluated submittal scope. That record established the engineering review of the package while leaving installation responsibilities and field acceptance with the applicable construction and inspection process.
