Equipment Parts Rack Storage
Evaluating a parts warehouse with coordinated storage, access, and supporting rack documentation.
The project
An equipment-parts distributor planned high-piled storage in an existing tenant space. WFPE evaluated the commodities and packaging alongside the proposed racks and the building’s sprinkler protection.
Our approach
The review considered storage height, aisles, clearance, and the classification of parts stored on pallets or in packaging. Separate rack loading calculations and anchor inspection records were included in the supporting project documentation. Our work addressed the fire protection basis for the described arrangement.
What we delivered
The resulting occupancy and commodity letter documented the evaluated warehouse use. It connected the storage assumptions with the protection criteria while preserving the roles of the separate specialists responsible for rack engineering and anchorage inspection.
