Construction Supply Hazard Inventory
Separating ordinary building products from the specialized hazards within a broad construction-supply inventory.
The project
A construction supplier’s planned facility combined a showroom with warehouse storage. The inventory ranged from ordinary building materials to products requiring separate hazardous-material consideration.
Our approach
WFPE classified the commodities and reviewed rack and floor storage against the sprinkler protection. The materials assessment addressed aerosols and other specialty products using the inventory information provided. It connected quantity limits and packaging assumptions with the broader occupancy and storage evaluation.
What we delivered
The resulting report documented the assessed product mix and operating conditions. It provided a coordinated fire protection basis for the proposed use and identified changes in inventory or storage as reasons to revisit the analysis.
