Community Facility System Commissioning
Following the fire protection chain from the underground supply through pumping, sprinklers, and alarm commissioning.
The project
A community facility required engineering review and inspection across several connected fire protection systems. The assignment included the underground fire line, water storage, fire pump, sprinklers, and fire alarm, bringing the supply and building systems into the same verification effort.
Our approach
WFPE reviewed the fire protection work and performed progress inspections and final commissioning activities. The breadth of the assignment mattered because each component contributed to the protection arrangement, from delivering water to notifying occupants. Our documentation addressed the reviewed systems and the observed installation and testing conditions.
What we delivered
The final report recorded that the evaluated systems had been placed in service and were in general conformance with the applicable requirements. This engagement demonstrates WFPE’s inspection and commissioning support across the interconnected systems serving a facility.
