Childcare Facility Sprinkler Review
Evaluating a childcare facility’s sprinkler plans, hydraulic calculations, and equipment information as one submittal.
The project
A childcare facility project called for Qualified Fire Protection Engineer review of its sprinkler design package. The assignment focused on the documents supporting the proposed system and the requirements governing the project.
Our approach
WFPE reviewed the working plans, hydraulic calculations, and product information against the applicable facility and sprinkler criteria. Looking at these documents together connected the layout of the proposed system with its calculation basis and selected components. The review scope was tied to the referenced submission.
What we delivered
The resulting QFPE review documentation recorded the evaluation of that package. It provided the project team with a defined engineering review record for the sprinkler design while maintaining the separate responsibilities for installation, testing, and later acceptance.
