Chemical Distribution Storage Conditions
Defining separate storage conditions for ordinary inventory, plastics, and chemical products.
The project
A distributor proposed storing chemical products alongside general merchandise in an existing tenant space. WFPE evaluated the inventory and the conditions needed for indoor and outdoor storage.
Our approach
The assessment addressed material classification, quantity limits, containment, marking, and storage restrictions. It also considered available sprinkler information while noting that full sprinkler drawings had not been provided. The report distinguished the storage analysis from verification that would require more complete system records.
What we delivered
WFPE delivered a documented set of storage and protection conditions for the proposed operation. The report provided a basis for coordinating the inventory and facility provisions, while preserving the limits of the available sprinkler documentation.
